Driving on the back of a jeep on an excursion in Uganda

Hi I’m Huda 🍁๋࣭

I’m a multidisciplinary creative artist! The medias I work with include video, photography, vintage film/photography, creative writing, music, painting, clay, crochet, and more! I received my B.Sc. in Political Science from Santa Clara University my master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from NYU.

I am a first generation South Asian American Muslim and was born in Islamabad, Pakistan. I am Pakistani, Indian, and Kashmiri. I grew up living all over the United States, however, and have lived in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Iowa, Tennessee, California, Hawai’i, and New York. Having lived in so many different places proved to be an incredibly insightful experience for me. It has led me to be passionate both about understanding the struggles of others and serving the greater community.

I am immensely passionate about storytelling, filmmaking, and creating content that inspires others. I care deeply about creating work that shares a diversity of perspectives, bridges barriers, and gets people to think critically about social norms/structures in the world. I am also interested in holistic education and expanding health and mental healthcare access for underserved populations. I am pursuing these interests through my work in teaching young people and my creative work in writing, digital content creation, and music composition.

In my spare time I like to spend time out in nature, cuddle with sweet cat Mochi, explore new restaurants and cuisines with with friends, and drink strong cups of chai with my family.
